Parks & Trails
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
The Department of Public Services is working closely with Lake County’s Public Health Officer, Gary Pace, MD, MPH, to protect the health and promote the well-being of all County residents.
All County parks and trails are open for outdoor recreational activity; however please keep in mind the following social distancing rules and recommendations when you visit your parks:
- Stay at least 6 feet from other park visitors who are not members of your household
- Carry a face covering and wear it when you cannot keep your distance, such as when passing on a trail or in a parking lot
- If you are walking with a household group, fall into a single file line to make room for others
- Bring your own water
Thank you for your cooperation, and for taking action to keep those close to you safe. Enjoy YOUR parks and trails!
