Request for Temporary Reduction of Cannabis Canopy
If you know in advance that you will not be cultivating this season, or will be cultivating a reduced canopy, please email our office. You will be required to provide the amount of canopy grown, and/or other information as needed.
Once the required documentation has been submitted to our department for review and approval, a site inspection with code enforcement must be scheduled to confirm the reduction of canopy.
The Request for Temporary Reduction of Cannabis Canopy form must be received by the Planning Division no later than July 1 of the current calendar year. In accordance with Article 27.4 Compliance monitoring (i):
A compliance monitoring inspection of the cultivation site shall be conducted annually during growing season. The status is to be confirmed by the Planning Division or designee at the Annual Inspection. Confirmation will be provided to County of Lake Tax Collector by Planning Division.
