The LCBC was founded in October of 2013. We are a dedicated group that is removing barriers to breastfeeding. We provide breastfeeding support and education to local mom and our community. Our general purpose is to redefine breastfeeding as the norm, to bring awareness to breastfeeding, to provide breastfeeding education & resources, and to remove barriers to breastfeeding.

LCOE, Office of Community and Schools Services Program: Our mission is to increase behavioral and educational outcomes for Lake County's Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade students. The program utilizes a multi-faceted approach of interventions and services focused on student well-being, school climate, parent engagement, and community service. The program offers school-based mental health services, tutoring, mentoring, volunteerism, as well as district/school capacity building to implement and sustain Positive Behavior Interventions and Support. The program also provides guidance to districts for emergency response, coordinates with other agencies during a large crisis, and coordinates the use of schools as public emergency shelters.
