Overview
The Lake County Library is a 10,318 sq foot library and the headquarters for the County Library system. Constructed in 1986, this main library features over 60,000 books, DVDs, audiobooks, and more. If the item you want isn't available locally you can request materials from any library in the Lake, Mendocino, and Sonoma Library systems to be sent to your local branch for pick up at no cost to yourself.
The Lake County Library in Lakeport also has free public Wi-Fi, 10 public computers with internet access, a public access printer, and copy machine. There is no public fax.
The Carnegie Library located in Library Park at 2nd and Park Streets ceased being used as a library in 1986. That building belongs to the City of Lakeport and houses city offices.
